Eβδομάδα 65: and then there were 2...

Anddd back down to 2 in our companionship, we dropped Sister Stillo off at the airport bright and early this morning since she decided to return home. So now it's just Mathis and me... the dangerous duo you could say ;) There's tennis courts right across the church and sometimes we'll literally just stand and watch people play out the windows. We're not crazy I promise... just miss our sport a LOT. We really need to figure out where we can get racquets and hit the courts. We grabbed some extra mattresses and every night we always go up to roof where the stargazing is just...amazing.

Every day basically feels like a pday in a way nowadays besides the calling home part. We're at the church with our district for the majority of our time making more FB ads, music videos, other content, or talking with some of our online contacts and its just super fun! (And this is expected to last till June 1st since that's hopefully when we'll be done with missionary quarantine). Being quarantined solo would be absolutely miserable but with 5 other elders and sister Mathis it's a heck of a good time!

We made a FB ad this week about God's love for us and it's gotten 30K views and counting! That got us a lot of responses that have led to some great conversations! We've also got memes being made outta us and calling us pokemon lol. That's social media for ya!

Everybody's loving the online church meeting we put together too, including some less actives who haven't attended church in forever! Our area presidency even recognized our efforts and our mission President wants us to continue doing them αfter we are able to have church gatherings again. You can say our video making skills are improving... σιγά σιγά ;)

Don't forget the Lord loves you because He knows you, and there's signs of it everywhere you look.

41 days left till I report to the MTC! ... not that I'm counting or anything (; These next few weeks are going to fly by. I couldn't be more excited, anxious, nervous, scared, or pretty much all of the above. Εβδομάδα 14: dried watermelon and promising investigators (;

FRIENDS N FAM! WHAT A WEEK! everyday I'm here I realize more and more how perfect this mission and these people here are for me.  RECAP: 1 baptismal date set and 3 new investigators in church... aka more θαύματα (MIRACLES)!! Sometimes I feel like its too good to be true, everyday has been SO great!  Little side note: it's pretty funny how many people comment on my "perfect teeth and smile" and associate that with Americans haha, dentist and dental hygiene aren't really a thing here sadly. Anywaysss... We had our first lesson with Κωνσταντίνος on Wednesday...ANDDD we set a BAPTISM date for him! June 29th! He read the entire BoM in 3 months and basically taught the entire 1st lesson, pretty sure he already knows everything, it's CRAZYYY. But yeah, he's way awesome. He lives 4 hours away so we've only been able to keep in contact with him via phone calls, but looks like it was all worth it. He even said he was gonna go to Salt Lake Cit

Eβδομάδα 5: "I want to be a verb!"

Only spoke to Kaylee for a short time this morning. She was off to play soccer in the mud with the German missionaries who are leaving next week. She said her tennis shoes were just starting to look normal... “Θέλω να είμαι ένα ρήμα!” … I want to be a verb!! One of Pascuzzo’s frequently used phrases! We were trying to figure out what our name tags will be in Greece… since they have to break the tags we wear in the MTC since our names are in English… and since our names are all in caps Pascuzzo wants an omega (Ω) at the end of his name cus it looks cooler than an omicron (Ο), but our teacher says he can’t have an omega or his name would be a verb… sooo whenever we talk about our greek names you know what’ll he’ll say haha (; I forgot the English word for Δάσκαλος (teacher) at one point this week, it was REALLY WEIRD. Same with ευχαριστώ (thanks ) and συγνώμη (sorry) ! I think that’s its good thing?? TUESDAY 3.12.19 Good old pdays! Another 8 am temple session to start of
